A BEYOND TRAVEL HOSTED JOURNEY

The Edge of the Blue. Alaska 2027.

Seven nights through Alaska aboard Brilliant Lady.
One small group. A terrace of your own.

01 / THE JOURNEY

Let the coastline
set the pace.

The forest gives way to rock. Waterfalls come into view. The light changes, and so does the water.

Alaska unfolds between the ports as much as within them. We have chosen seven nights on Brilliant Lady, a private terrace for every core traveler, and a group small enough to get to know.

03 / YOUR CENTRAL SEA TERRACE

Your room is part
of the journey.

A blanket. A cup of coffee.
Alaska just beyond your door.

Every core traveler sails in a Central Sea Terrace. We chose it because time on your private balcony belongs to the experience, from the first stretch of coastline to a quiet afternoon in Virgin Voyages’ signature red hammock.

09 / BEFORE YOU GO

A few things
to know.

Clear expectations make room for a better journey.

What is purchased separately?

Airfare, optional Shore Things, personal purchases, spa services, alcohol and premium drinks beyond your Bar Tab, travel protection, and airport transfers unless specifically arranged.

The Seattle hotel package is optional. Seriously Suite upgrades depend on current availability and prevailing rates. Service gratuities are addressed in the pricing section.

Travel protection

Travel protection is strongly recommended. Compare trip cancellation, interruption, medical, travel delay, and baggage coverage against your needs and the trip’s cancellation terms.

Coverage is purchased independently. Beyond Travel does not sell insurance through this site.

Cruise cancellation + changes

For Essential Fare bookings under the current U.S. ticket contract, cancellation terms depend on how far ahead you cancel and when the booking was created.

  • 121+ days before sailing: a full refund applies within seven days of booking. After that window, the deposit is nonrefundable.
  • 120–46 days before sailing: no cash refund of the voyage fare. Eligible amounts may become a Future Voyage Certificate for travel within one year of the original sailing.
  • 45 days or fewer: no voyage-fare refund or Future Voyage Certificate. Essential Fare permits eligible co-traveler name changes up to 48 hours before departure, not replacement of the lead sailor.

Per-person taxes and fees are refundable under the contract. Eligible voyage-date and cabin changes must meet the contract’s deadlines and conditions. Other purchases, including prepaid gratuities, can have separate terms.

Terms can change. The contract and fare terms governing your confirmed booking control. Beyond Travel’s April 2 payment deadline is separate from the cruise line’s cancellation windows.

Hotel cancellation + changes

Cancellation is free until 11:59 PM Seattle time on August 3, 2027, the day before arrival. After that deadline, the hotel stay is nonrefundable.

Contact Beyond Travel to arrange a cancellation or request a change.

Airline cancellation + changes

Independently purchased airfare follows the airline’s rules and the fare you choose. Review changes, cancellation, credits, baggage, and seat conditions before purchasing.

Travel documents + age requirements
  • Age: sailors must be at least 18 to sail. On Alaska itineraries, you must be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcohol. Hyatt requires the checking-in guest to be at least 21.
  • Passport: bring a valid passport book expiring February 12, 2028 or later, six months after the voyage ends.
  • U.S. citizens on eligible roundtrip Seattle sailings: Virgin permits certain passport exceptions, including a state-issued birth certificate plus physical government-issued photo ID, or an original Consular Report of Birth Abroad or Certificate of Naturalization plus that photo ID. Hospital birth certificates and Puerto Rico birth certificates issued before July 1, 2010 are not accepted.
  • Alternative documents: have Beyond Travel confirm eligibility before relying on an exception. A passport book is needed for an unexpected international flight home.
  • Other citizenships: carry your passport and any required Canadian entry and U.S. re-entry documents. Requirements depend on citizenship and immigration status.

That is the reason for the group size. Beyond Travel is present throughout, with room for you to make the week your own.

YOUR HOST & PLANNER
